River looking south.

Did this picture , trying out a bit of foam plastic for the clouds! I think the sky works fine and mountains not too bad. It's the foreground that needs darkening and the addition , perhaps, of a ruined cottage?

Rear view!

The dogs love going for a ride in this. When I leave them in a car park, I open the sunshine roof and the top half back door and they are really happy.
I have taken the spare wheel off and taped one of those aerosol puncture repair things into a corner. Punctures are so rare these days and carrying a heavy spare wheel around is pointless. I'm toying with the idea of making the exhaust louder as I am still an imature hooligan inside this aging body !!

Fishguard harbour.

Pembrokeshire , a lovely coast line. This is the old harbour at Fishguard. I wouldn't mind living here. Friendly people and a little old pub called
The Ship. We had one night B & B in a nice old house over looking the boats.
This picture was taken through the window of the breakfast room. Lovely.

Spring at last !

It really felt like spring this morning. I went out into the garden and the river was very clear. I should have used my polariser but the picture is quite nice anyway.

Starlings.

Funny how all scavenging type birds
like these starlings and the crow family,
walk instead of hopping with both feet together as a blackbird , for instance, does. See the bird top right striding?

Shooting 1804

This picture is interesting in that the positions depicted are precisely those used today in rifle target shooting.
