The Roman soldiers used to put this in their wine which they drank before going into battle. Made them fearless. This plant would normally grow to a height of two feet but in my "garden" which I will describe later, this one has reached five feet four inches! So far!My three broad bean plants are at least five feet eight inches tall!

That sounds like a good plant, Mick. Could you package some up and send it? I could do with some of that Roman 'fearless' beverage - specially when I'm on the bike and bearing down on a 90deg corner and I've left the braking a bit late!! (gulp!).
Dave
Will send some seeds later!
Sounds a brilliant plant, and I can do with some of that for being fearless Michael.!
I remember the first time I cooked Broad Beans, I ate them with the shells on, now know one has to remove before eating, but lovely flavour.
Have you ever eaten overgrown runner beans? You shuck them like broad beans and boil them. Very nice.If the Borage seeds well, I'll see you both get some! It's nice in a cold drink. Pimms?
