a lot of the noise that an airgun makes is mechanical (in the action) and is perceived as loud because is next to our ear while firing the rifles... the XS20 is a great gun (clone to the HW95/Beeman R9). with a home tune and lube, shooting at non FAC levels they become extremely quiet without the need for a silencer. Try that and it may surprise you. It will become a handier rifle, and easier to point.
I am retired and 'though able, at last, to do more or less what I wish, I feel I am wasting the few years of life left to me. that is the reason for starting this Blog, so that I might communicate with other humans with perhaps similar interests or perhaps opposing interests. I'm 80 years old but still a child at heart.
