Hens are a joy I am glad we share... i have three hens (originally six, but nature is cruel...) that are daily layers... got them as baby chicks and raise them. I remember my first egg... It was tiny, and was laid by my dear, but no longer here Charlotte. They say you should not eat the first 10 eggs, but i did. I fried that little egg with some bacon, and it was the most delicious egg i have ever eaten... it was a happy moment... for ever in my heart. I love my chickees.
I am retired and 'though able, at last, to do more or less what I wish, I feel I am wasting the few years of life left to me. that is the reason for starting this Blog, so that I might communicate with other humans with perhaps similar interests or perhaps opposing interests. I'm 80 years old but still a child at heart.
