- I am retired and 'though able, at last, to do more or less what I wish, I feel I am wasting the few years of life left to me. that is the reason for starting this Blog, so that I might communicate with other humans with perhaps similar interests or perhaps opposing interests. I'm 80 years old but still a child at heart.

Enjoyed that writing, Mick. Is the picture one of yours? I remember your dark, night scenes with yellow moons and little, lone cottages. In fact, you gave one to Mags and me, way back in the mid eighties; and it still hangs in the porch. I'll photograph it and send you the pic.

I'm thinking of starting painting
again even though it's amateurish
stuff, I love the colours.
