nice carbine... practical and purposeful... in the mean time i was able to secure a webley venom... cracking little rifle. I am glad you are back. i missed your posts and pics. I feared we were not going to get our Mick fixes anymore. that would be a sore loss...
Thanks old chum. I am not good with computers and recent changes to something on here left me unable to post photos. The rifle has proved very effective against squirrels pinching my chicken food! I had to get a lighter gun and sight because of old age related complaints which weakened me. These are being examined via our excellent though hard pressed national health service and my right wrist for instance is soon to be injected with something to replace the missing cartilage!! Never had a Webley apart from a PCP but they have a good reputation for solid construction. Best wishes from Mick.
which pcp? the one i got is a pcp based on the 2 shot webley raider... Consider your self lucky that at least you are getting fixed... I have lived without madical care ins. for now well over a decade (since i left the Army) and not even our wonderful president has been able to get me covered under any affordable program... just to show how much our country cares about veterans again. I hope your system at least alleviates any discomfort you may be feeling.
My Webley was a single shot Raider in .177. Didn't keep it long as it was so perfect and quiet with no kick! I tried other PCPs with the same result. The picture of me by the gate shows my Air Arms TDR. Having trouble with my right hand , swelling and pain but still shooting! Got a thieving magpie yesterday , trying to get the chicken eggs. Take care, Mick.
I am retired and 'though able, at last, to do more or less what I wish, I feel I am wasting the few years of life left to me. that is the reason for starting this Blog, so that I might communicate with other humans with perhaps similar interests or perhaps opposing interests. I'm 80 years old but still a child at heart.
